The MGE Ratchet Reel has a clever but simple rotating control mechanism which allows a left or right handed user to easily switch between the 4 multi-function modes:
- Clockwise ratchet.
- Anti-clockwise ratchet
- Free flow mode is used for deploying SMBs.
- Full-lock mode to provide tension for safety or decompression stops.
- What's more, the centrally located control mechanism is designed for use with either hand, making this model more versatile than thumb trigger designs.

Great item and service. Good communication too
I am a new diver about to go to to Egypt to get my OW certificate. Needed some advise and help on prescription goggles. I live in Milton Keynes but reading the good reviews decided it was worth travelling down. And I was right. I telephoned the store and Mark answered. I explained it was difficult for me to get to the shop on a weekday before 4 and Phil advised i could come down on a pre agreed day at a time that suited me.
When i did go, he helped me to select the best goggles that worked for me, gave me advise and arranged to have the prescription lens fitted and posted the goggles out to me which was all received in just under 1 week.
