The holy grail of fly rod design has always been to achieve that light effortless feel that belies the hidden power of the blank. With many refinements and development Snowbee have managed to achieve just that with the Spectre Pro range whilst maintaining a price point which is achievable for most anglers who desire outstanding performance.
This river rod uses the very same multi-modulus carbon fibre technology as the rest of the range with precise stiffness and flex in each section and the highly important recovery speed of the tip. The top-quality Portuguese cork half-wells handle fills the palm perfectly for all day comfort. The blanks are left ‘unground’ with a silver-grey natural finish. This adds strength and durability to the blank and helps reduce rod flash that can spook wild fish. The contrasting black whippings with subtle silver trim provide a contemporary finish. Minimising weight Snowbee have used lightweight machined aluminium reel seats with carbon fibre inserts.
