The Scout 5G onBoard Plus system is an all-in-one system that provides lightning-fast internet to boats, supporting up to 150 simultaneous users.
Building upon the success of the Scout 4G system, the 5G onBoard Plus is tailor-made for marine environments, delivering exceptional navigation performance for both downloads and uploads.
At its heart is a cutting-edge 25cm diameter dome crafted from ASA material, renowned for its resistance to atmospheric conditions and sunlight.
The system features a sleek design with a latest generation router with dual SIM card system, reaching speeds of up to 3.3 Gbps. It can be conveniently configured remotely using the dedicated app.
This system boasts a dedicated high-speed wireless network (Dual-band Wi-Fi 5) and an ultra-fast wired network via the router's Ethernet ports.
From chartplotters and radios to smart TVs and IP cameras, all modern devices can be connected to the internet network. The lightning-fast 5G speed ensures smooth HD streaming on platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, and music streaming services such as Spotify.
With four powerful 5G antennas within the dome, the 5G onBoard Plus system maintains connectivity up to 20 miles off the coast. Even in the absence of a 5G signal, the system falls back to 4G and 3G technologies, ensuring uninterrupted access.
The low-loss cable connection with the external dome guarantees optimal router performance, ensuring rapid downloads and uploads.
Configuration and control of the router are made effortless through a user-friendly app, compatible with iOS and Android devices.
The RMS (Remote Management System) facilitates remote access without relying on a public IP address. This system enables easy tracking of status changes such as device temperature, mobile signal quality, and data usage.
