CM Series: A mooring buoy doesn’t have to be hard to be durable. The CM has been designed to provide the ultimate in strength, durability and versatility, providing increased security to any mooring.
● High quality PVC construction
● Soft, non-marring mooring buoy
● Even wall thickness for maximum strength and durability
● The mooring iron is 1/2-inch galvanized steel with a vinyl coated eye.
● Large 11cm eye and swivel
MOORING TIPS
When picking up a mooring, always use the top ring to pick up the buoy with a boathook. Then shackle the mooring pennant to the mooring chain shackle, rather than to the buoy itself. This puts all the strain on the anchor chain, rather than the buoy.
WHAT SIZE BUOY?
To establish what size buoy you will need, determine the weight of the chain it must support and add another 25% for safety.
