The unit comes complete with a built in rain cover, offering full protection. Meaning you can continue to use the fan even if it's raining.
You can also close the lid and still use the fan in ceiling fan mode. It comes complete with a remote allowing control of all the functions from anywhere in your van, or these can be programmed on the body of the unit itself

When connecting a MAXXFAN to the battery on your vehicle, the maximum recommended voltage supplied to the unit should be no more than 13.2V. If the connection you use tests above this voltage (which is often the case on charging cycles, especially with lithium leisure batteries, we recommend the use of a 12V regulator to protect the feed into the Maxxfan.
Excessive voltages can caused a reduced life expectancy of the unit resulting the main PCB being inadvertently damaged.
