The Maestrini tapered pipe plug is made from bronze. This material is tough and corrosion resistant making it suitable for exposure to sea water. This plug acts as a blanking cap for female threaded pipes. The plug has a 3/8" BSP tapered male thread.
Please Note: All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion. Bronze is highly suitable for below waterline through hull applications.
