The ball valve has a bronze construction with the body, coupling, stem and gland all being bronze, with a acetal polymer ball. The Maestrini bronze ball valve features drain plugs to simplify winterisation and a nickle-plated brass handle that can be re-positioned to reverse the direction of movement allowing for easier installation in certain applications.
Also available with position sensors and flange mounting.
This ball valve is suitable for hot water, steam, gasoline, fuel, oil, gas oil, kerosene and compressed air. The 2" ball valve has a threaded BSP Female port each end as well as a lever handle on top which requires a 1/4 turn.
Important Note: All fittings used for below the waterline applications must be correctly fitted and bonded so as to minimise the risk of electrolytic action.
