The genuine Jabsco cam liner kit is designed specifically for Jabsco flexible impeller cooling pumps: 17530-0000, 17540-0001, 18770-0003, 18770-0004, 18770-0005, 18780-0001, 18780-0003, 18780-0013 and 18790-0001. Jabsco 18785-0000 cam plate liner is the UK part number for the Jabsco USA 18785-3000 cam liner.
The cam plate, often referred to as a comb plate deforms the flexible impeller blades to create a flow of liquid inside the pump. The cam plate is a wearing part inside of the pump and should be inspected regularly and replaced when needed to maintain pump performance.
