The Centaur also features temperature sensors that will ensure the unit runs within specified limits, and in extreme hot conditions will reduce output current and force cooling to protect the power components. It also features ignition protection, as well as an inbuilt ammeter displaying total output.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIt is suitable for charging up to three batteries simultaneously. The Centaur features a three stage charging process - bulk, absorption and float.
