The Sigma series from Shakespeare has been continually talking the angling world by storm with each product release and this latest offering looks set to do the same. The Shakespeare Sigma Supra features three ball bearings as well as an additional roller bearing. These significantly reduce standard wear and tear and enable the reel to last exponentially longer than like for like reels that do not feature these ball bearings. Not only this but the ball bearings ensure that you can achieve a smooth cast and retrieve time after time.
The main spool for the Shakespeare Sigma Supra Front Drag is constructed from high-grade aluminium and is features perforation in the spool skirt – which not only saves weight but also ensures that this reel looks good too. The reel comes with a spare deep graphite spool as standard which is ideal for those anglers who want to have a little extra line to play with after a distance cast as well as being perfect for those anglers who like to fish with larger diameter lines.
The large diameter bail wire allows line to be easily retrieved and reduces the risk of poor line lay. This is a reel that loves playing a fish and is perfect for those anglers who find fish play the most enjoyable aspect of the angling experience. This reel has been designed to perfectly complement the Sigma rod series from Shakespeare. However in a classic all-black with vibrant red accents would make a classy addition to any carp rod.
